Windows will no longer support XP SP3, Office 2003, and Exchange Server 2003 Standard and Enterprise Edition after April 8th, 2014. Per Microsoft’s Support Lifecycle policy, they will only support their products for 10 years after they are released.

How does that affect me?

Microsoft will not be releasing security updates or providing free or paid support for Windows XP, Office 2003 and Exchange 2003. As you know, malware is constantly evolving, which means software developers have to constantly be updating their products to protect against modern viruses. In a few months time, Windows XP, Office 2003 and Exchange 2003 security will be compromised and all of your data will be at risk.

What should I do?

You have two choices: continue using XP, Office 2003, or Exchange Server 2003 or migrate to a newer product. We highly recommend upgrading affected systems to a newer generation and preferably to the newest available option.

CompuSys will continue to support these products for as long as support is needed. For those who will choose to migrate, we can also help in that process. Our Hosted Exchange plans are one of the options to choose.
