Position Summary:
The position of Business Development Director is responsible for new business development within a defined geographic region or market segment. Included in his/her responsibilities are the development of lead generation methods, evaluation of business opportunities, researching new business lines, coordination of sales support and company efforts with prospects, development of proposals and sales contracts, and closing sufficient new business to meet or exceed sales goals.Business Development Director will proactively review business and customer needs with focus on transforming the strategic roadmap. Knowledge and experience of business information systems development and translation of business needs into technical requirements will all prove helpful in the success of this candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Understand, evaluate, model and document business objectives in addition to analyzing existing technology infrastructure and proposing the implementation of new technology to meet business goals.
- Knowledge and experience of developing and integrating business information systems such as including but not limited to CRM (Customer Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Management), Collaboration and Knowledge Management, Ticketing and Practice Management Systems and translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Following, analyzing and reporting emerging trends in business management technologies with the concentration on small-medium businesses.
- Assessing business automation needs, documenting requirements, developing business cases and models, researching technologies, scheduling and assisting in the development, testing and implementation of applications used in systems.
